A somewhat better prepared gig at a Pirate Jenny's Club night, for 'Judge Smith and the Young Offenders', who on this occasion comprised John Ellis on guitar, Ian Fordham on bass, and, for the first time the incredible Michael Ward-Bergeman on piano and accordion. Ian was with me in the Imperial Storm Band in the mid '70s - a band of which, rather spookily, no photographs seem to exist at all, despite us playing some reasonably high-profile shows in London, including several gigs at the Marquee Club.
